In 1989, Congress declared October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month. There are still 42.5% women, and over 25% children effected and exposed to domestic violence and intimate partner violence annually. After 34 years, we cannot forget the mother of two was gunned down by her ex-spouse in front of her children’s daycare facility 2023 and many more brutal and
senseless incidents.
